LET US LIVE
w/m Bill Itzel 1991
HAVE YOU EVER HELD A BABY IN YOUR ARMS
AND FELT THE HELPLESS TOUCH THAT THEY GIVE?
HAVE YOU SEEN A BABY SMILE IT FILLS YOUR HEART WITH JOY?
AREN’T YOU GLAD, HE WAS ONE THAT GOT TO LIVE
CHORUS
LET US LIVE, LET US LIVE
THE VOICES CRY FROM HEAVEN, LET US LIVE
JUST THINK WHAT THEY COULD BE
IF GOD LOVES THEM WHY DON’T WE?
LET’S GIVE THEM ALL A CHANCE AND LET THEM LIVE
CAN’T YOU SEE WHAT YOU’RE DOING TO OUR FUTURE?
CAN’T YOU SEE THAT YOU’RE THROWING LIFE AWAY?
CAN’T YOU SEE THAT OUR CHILDREN ARE BECOMING
MORE AND MORE ENDANGERED EVERYDAY?
CHORUS
AT THE POUNDING OF THE GAVEL THE DECISION’S FINALLY MADE
THEY SAY THESE LIVING, BREATHING PEOPLE ARE NOT PEOPLE, I’M AFRAID
BUT THEY SAY…
CHORUS

We Have Come To Worship
w/m - Bill Itzel
Chorus
We have come to worship We have come to praise
We’ve come to give Him glory in many different ways
He’s worthy to be worshipped He’s worthy of our praise
Come on let’s give Him glory For He is here with us today
You may be my brother though I may not know your name
But in the family of God We’re brothers just the same
Children of the Father and joint-heirs with the Son
It’s a family reunion So praise Him everyone
Chorus
He’s on the throne in Heven Yet He’s living in my heart
I’ve never really seen Him Though we’ve never been apart
He’s with me in the valleys and He hears me when I pray
He lifts my soul from heartache so I’ll lift His name today
HARD TO BELIEVE
w/m Bill Itzel
BURDENS, THEY CAN CRUSH YOU DOWN
TILL YOU CAN HARDLY WALK AT ALL
AND SORROWS, THEY TEAR YOU DEEP INSIDE
TILL TEARS BEGIN TO FALL
AND HEARTACHE, FROM PAINFUL MEMORIES
CAN LEAVE YOU TORN APART BUT JESUS, THE GREAT PHYSICIAN
CAN HEAL YOUR BROKEN HEART
CHORUS
SOMETIMES IT’S HARD, HARD TO BELIEVE
SOMETIMES IT’S HARD, IT’S HARD TO UNDERSTAND
WHY THIS WORLD MOVES THE WAY IT DOES
BUT JUST REMEMBER THAT IT’S ALL IN HIS HAND
TRIALS, THEY STAND LIKE MOUNTAINS
TOO HIGH FOR YOU TO CLIMB
AND THE FIRE, IT’S SO HOT IT BURNS YOUR SOUL
AND YOU QUESTION, “WHY, GOD, WHY?”
OH, BUT THERE’S A HOPE, YES THERE’S A SAVIOR
WHEN YOU’RE GOING THROUGH THE HEAT
AND ALL THOSE MOUNTAINS, AND THINGS OVER YOUR HEAD
ARE ALL UNDER JESUS’ FEET
CHORUS

HERO
w/m Bill Itzel 1994
AS THE FATHER GAZES DOWN INTO HIS YOUNG SON’S EYES
HE OFTEN DOES NOT SEE WHAT OTHERS PLAINLY REALIZE
HIS SON WANTS TO REPEAT EVERYTHING HIS FATHER DOES
IT’S MORE THAN JUST A CHILDISH GAME, HE DOES IT JUST BECAUSE
CHORUS
HIS DAD’S HIS HERO, HE WANTS TO BE JUST LIKE
HIS GREATEST HERO, HE HANGS ON EVERY WORD
IT’S SUCH A STRONG AFFECTION
WITH ADORATION AND PRAISE
IT’S THE GREATEST FORM OF LOVE
THAT A LITTLE BOY CAN RAISE
HE’S GOT A HERO
AS THE LITTLE BOY GROWS OLDER HIS PERCEPTION CHANGES FAST
AND HIS FIRST AND GREATEST MODEL FADES INTO THE DISTANT PAST
BUT WHEN THOSE HE IDOLIZES ARE SURE TO FALL FROM GRACE
THERE’S A SPECIAL CHILDLIKE QUALITY THAT WILL BRING HIM TO ONE PLACE
CHORUS
NOW I HAVE AN EARTHLY FATHER WHOSE ADVICE YOU CAN’T AFFORD
BUT THE GREATEST THING HE’S DONE FOR ME IS LEAD ME TO MY LORD
NOW I HAVE A HEAVENLY FATHER AS I TRAVEL ON THIS SOD
HE’S THE ULTIMATE ROLE MODEL, HE’S THE AWESOME HERO GOD
CHORUS 2
YES HE’S MY HERO I WANT TO BE JUST LIKE
MY GREATEST HERO, AND I HANG ON EVERY WORD
IT’S SUCH A STRONG AFFECTION
WITH ADORATION AND PRAISE
IT’S THE GREATEST FORM OF LOVE
THAT A LOVING SON CAN RAISE
HE’S MY HERO
I BELIEVE IN YOU
WORDS AND MUSIC BILL ITZEL
SOME BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF LOVE
TO WASH ALL THEIR TEARS AWAY
SOME PUT THEIR TRUST IN PILLS AND DRUGS
TO HELP THEM THROUGH ANOTHER DAY
OTHERS TRUST IN EDUCATION
LEARNING ALL THERE IS TO SEE
BUT WHEN THEY STAND BEFORE THE LORD
THESE THINGS WONT CHANGE THEIR DESTINY
CHORUS
I BELIEVE IN YOU-MY HEART IS IN YOUR HANDS
I BELIEVE IN YOU
I BELIEVE IN YOU-I’M TRUSTING IN YOUR PLAN
I BELIEVE IN YOU
SOME BELIEVE IN COMMUNISM
THEY THOUGHT THEY’D NEVER SEE IT FALL
BUT ALL THEY HAVE TO DO IS LOOK AT
THE IRON CURTAIN AND THE BERLIN WALL
SOME HAVE FAITH IN OUR GOVERNMENT
THAT KEEPS YOU CRUSHED UNDER THEIR FEET
BUT I BELIEVE IN THE ETERNAL REIGN
OF IMMANUEL WHO SETS ME FREE
CHORUS
SO LITTLE TODAY TO PUT OUR TRUST IN
SO LITTLE IN WHICH WE CAN BELIEVE
THOUGH SOME LAY UP TREASURES HERE ON EARTH
THEY HAVE NO REWARD ETERNALLY
CHORUS
CHORUS

FREE TO SERVE
WORDS AND MUSIC BILL AND KAREN ITZEL
BOUND BY THE LAW OF SIN AND DEATH
YET CALLED FROM BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN
NO LONGER BLIND, NO LONGER DEAF
A GIFT SO UNDESERVING TO THIS MAN
NOW I’VE SUCH A CHOICE TO MAKE
I’M SET FREE, BUT WHICH ROAD WILL I TAKE
CHORUS
FREE TO SERVE MY FELLOW MAN
FREE TO LOVE AND NOT TEAR DOWN
FREE TO GIVE ALL THAT I CAN GIVE
FREE TO DO WHAT I KNOW IS RIGHT
FREE TO BE PLEASING IN HIS SIGHT
FREE TO LEARN HOW HE WANTS ME TO LIVE
BEFORE I WAS SAVED I HAD NO CHOICE
LIVING LIKE THE WORLD WAS ALL I KNEW
AS AN HEIR OF GOD NOW I HAVE A VOICE
TO PRAISE HIM FOR THIS LIFE THAT’S BEEN MADE NEW
WHAT’S THE BEST WAY I CAN SERVE?
TO GIVE JESUS THE GLORY HE DESERVES
CHORUS
I’M FREE TO WORSHIP HIM, I’M FREE TO WORSHIP HIM
FREE TO WORSHIP HIM IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH
I’M FREE TO WORSHIP HIM, YES FREE TO WORSHIP HIM
FREE TO WORSHIP HIM IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH
CHORUS
CHORUS
I’M FREE TO SERVE
POLITICALLY INCORRECT
WORDS AND MUSIC BY BILL ITZEL
THEY’RE SEARCHIN’ FOR THE ANSWERS
THEY’RE TRYIN’ TO FIND THE TRUTH
BUT WITH ALL THEIR BRILLIANT MINDS
THEY HAVEN’T GOT A CLUE
TAKIN’ PRAYER OUT OF SCHOOLS
‘CAUSE IT’S SO OUT OF DATE
AND VALUES CAN’T BE TAUGHT AT HOME
SO IT’S UP TO THE STATE
CHORUS
WHEN DID WE REACH THE POINT OF NO RETURN
AND CROSS THE LINE OF DESPAIR
THIS EVIL CREPT IN WHILE WE WERE ASLEEP
AND CAUGHT US UNAWARE
IT’S TIME TO MAKE OUR MOVE, TIME TO TAKE OUR STAND
WE’VE GOT TO DRAW A LINE IN THE STAND
IF YOU’RE GONNA DO WHAT’S RIGHT, YOU’VE GOTTA BE DIRECT
BUT SOMETIMES YOU’VE GOTTA BE POLITICALLY INCORRECT
THEY PUT DOWN ALL RELIGION
‘CAUSE IT STEPS ON THEIR TOES
IT’S NOT THEIR FLAWED AGENDA
IT’S THE CHRISTIANS THAT ARE FOES
THEY KEEP REWRITING HISTORY
AND CHANGING ALL THE FACTS
AND THEY KEEP ON KILLING CHILDREN
BUT, HEY, WHAT’S WRONG WITH THAT
CHORUS
THEY KEEP PASSING LAWS TO SAVE THE TREE
BUT WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN OF YOU AND ME
I’D RATHER SIDE WITH A GOD WHO’S GOOD
THAN SIDE WITH THE MEDIA AND HOLLYWOOD
CHORUS
CHORUS
HELD FOR RANSOM
WORDS/MUSIC BILL ITZEL
AS HE HUNG ON THE CROSS IT SEEMED SUCH A WASTE
FOR THE AUTHOR OF LIFE TO DIE IN DISGRACE
FROM MY POINT OF VIEW
HE COULD HAVE DONE SO MUCH MORE IF HE LIVED
BUT HE KNEW IN HIS HEART THAT I HAD A NEED
THAT COULD ONLY BE MET BY PLANTING THE SEED
THAT WOULD THREE DAYS LATER ARISE
WITH NEW LIFE TO GIVE
CHORUS
I WAS HELD FOR RANSOM (RANSOMED FROM MY SIN)
I WAS JUST A PRISONER (HAD NO PEACE WITHIN)
I TRIED TO LIVE THE BEST I COULD
BUT MY BEST COULDN’T SET ME FREE
(COULDN’T SET ME FREE)
JESUS PAID THE RANSOM (WITH HIS OWN BLOOD)
NOW I SEE THE LIGHT (IT’S THE LIGHT OF HIS LOVE)
I’M NO LONGER A SLAVE TO MY SIN
I HAVE FREEDOM WITHIN ME
HE SAID “IT IS FINISHED”, HIS WORK HERE WAS DONE
SO HE GAVE UP HIS SPIRIT, FOR HE KNEW HE HAD WON
AND BECAME OUR HIGH PRIEST
BREAKING DOWN EVERY WALL
HE ENTERED INTO THE HOLIEST PLACE
THROUGH THE ONE SACRIFICE THAT WOULD FOREVER ERASE
EVERY SIN THAT I’D EVER COMMIT
HIS BLOOD COVERS ALL
CHORUS
HE’S THE ONE
w/ Bobby Ayres m/Bill Itzel
YOU MAY KNOW THE HOUR OF LOSING WHEN A LOVED ONE’S TAKEN HOME
YOU MAY KNOW THE POWER OF CHOOSING WHEN YOU’VE BEEN LEFT ALONE
YOU MAY THINK YOUR WORLD IS OVER AND LIFE’S BEEN UNFAIR
BUT COMFORT COMES THROUGH JESUS CHRIST SO CALL ON HIM IN PRAYER
CHORUS
HE’S THE ONE WHO MAKES OUR RESERVATION
HE’S THE ONE WHO SEALS OUR DESTINATION
HE’S THE ONE WHO KNOWS OUR SITUATION
AND HE’S WORKING IT ALL FOR OUR GOOD IN THE END
HE’S THE ONE WHO’S WALKING NOW BESIDE US
HE’S THE ONE WHO’S LIVING NOW INSIDE US
HE’S THE ONE WITH LAMP IN HAND TO GUIDE US
AND HE’S WORKING IT ALL FOR OUR GOOD IN THE END
JESUS KNOWS THE LONELY HEARTACHE WHEN YOU’RE ABANDONED BY YOUR FRIENDS
JESUS HOLDS THE POWER OF HEALING WHEN IT SEEMS TO BE THE END
THERE’S A PEACE THAT PASSES KNOWLEDGE AND A JOY BEYOND COMPARE
WHEN YOU’VE WALKED ALONE WITH JESUS THROUGH A NIGHT OF DEEP DESPAIR
HE’S THE ONE WHO’S FINISHED ALL CREATION
HE’S THE ONE WHO’S FORGING OUR RELATION
HE’S THE ONE WHO’S FASHIONED TRANSPORTATION
AND HE’S WORKING IT ALL FOR OUR GOOD IN THE END
HE’S THE ONE WHO’S SEEKING OUR AFFECTION
HE’S THE ONE WHO’S HOLDING OUR PROTECTION
HE’S THE ONE WHO IS THE RESURRECTION
AND HE’S WORKING IT ALL FOR OUR GOOD IN THE END
HE’S THE ONE WHO MAKES OUR RESERVATION
HE’S THE ONE WHO SEALS OUR DESTINATION
HE’S THE ONE WHO KNOWS OUR SITUATION
AND HE’S WORKING IT ALL FOR OUR GOOD IN THE END
HE’S THE ONE WHO’S WALKING NOW BESIDE US
HE’S THE ONE WHO’S LIVING NOW INSIDE US
HE’S THE ONE WITH LAMP IN HAND TO GUIDE US
AND HE’S WORKING IT ALL FOR OUR GOOD IN THE END
JESUS IS THE WATER IN MY DESERT (ALL I NEED)
WORDS AND MUSIC BY BILL AND ADAM ITZEL
CHORUS
JESUS IS THE WATER IN MY DESERT
JESUS IS THE SHELTER IN THE STORM
WHEN THE CHILLING WINDS OF LIFE TRY TO FREEZE ME
JESUS IS THE ONE THAT KEEPS ME WARM
CHORUS
CHORUS
HE IS ALL I NEED, JESUS IS ALL I NEED
HE IS ALL I NEED, JESUS IS ALL I NEED
HE IS ALL I NEED, JESUS IS ALL I NEED
HE IS ALL I NEED, JESUS IS ALL I NEED
CHORUS
WHEN THE WAVES ROCK MY BOAT-HE IS ALL I NEED
AND I CAN BARELY STAY AFLOAT-HE IS ALL I NEED
WHEN MY BODY’S WRACKED WITH PAIN-HE IS ALL I NEED
AND I NEED A TOUCH AGAIN-HE IS ALL I NEED
WHEN MY MIND IS SO CONFUSED-HE IS ALL I NEED
AND I WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH-HE IS ALL I NEED
WHEN HUNGER PAINS FEEL LIKE A KNIFE, JESUS IS THE BREAD OF LIFE
CHORUS
HE IS ALL I NEED, JESUS IS ALL I NEED
HE IS ALL I NEED, JESUS IS ALL I NEED
HE IS ALL I NEED, JESUS IS ALL I NEED
HE IS ALL I NEED, JESUS IS ALL I NEED
CHORUS
CHORUS
LAY IT DOWN
WORDS AND MUSIC BY BILL ITZEL
CHORUS
DON’T WORRY GIVE IT ALL (GIVE IT ALL) TO JESUS
DON’T WORRY GIVE IT ALL (GIVE IT ALL) TO THE LORD
DON’T WORRY GIVE IT ALL (GIVE IT ALL) TO JESUS
DON’T WORRY JUST GIVE IT ALL TO THE LORD
JUST LAY IT ON DOWN AT THE FOOT OF THE CROSS
LAY IT DOWN LAY IT DOWN
AND FOCUS YOUR CARE ON THE ONE THAT’S LOST
LAY IT DOWN LAY IT DOWN
CHORUS
JUST REMEMBER WHAT HE HAS DONE FOR YOU
LAY IT DOWN LAY IT DOWN
AND THEN YOUR PROBLEMS WILL ALL SEEM FEW
LAY IT DOWN LAY IT DOWN
CHORUS
NOW DON’T YOU DARE MURMUR AND DON’T YOU COMPLAIN
LAY IT DOWN LAY IT DOWN
YES, YOU CAN HAVE JOY EVEN THROUGH THE PAIN
LAY IT DOWN LAY IT DOWN
CHORUS
FOR ONE DAY WE WILL BE LIKE HIM
LAY IT DOWN LAY IT DOWN
FREE FROM THE HEARTACHE AND FREE FROM THE SIN
LAY IT DOWN LAY IT DOWN
CHORUS
CHORUS
BELIEVE IT
WORDS AND MUSIC BY BOBBY AYRES AND BILL ITZEL
WHEN JESUS CAME THE BIBLE SAID
HE HEALED THE SICK AND RAISED THE DEAD
AND MANY OTHER SIGNS HE DID
THAT MAN MIGHT JUST BELIEVE
YET WE WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT
AND FOLLOW HEAVEN’S GUIDING LIGHT
DOWN A PATH THAT LEADS US TO EVERLASTING GLORY
CHORUS
YOU MAY NOT BELIEVE IT, AND YOU MAY NOT RECEIVE IT
YOU MAY THINK THAT ALL THERE IS IS WHAT YOU SEE AND FEEL
BUT IF YOU DO BELIEVE IT, AND IF YOU JUST RECEIVE IT
THEN YOU CAN KNOW WITHOUT A DOUBT THE LOVE OF GOD IS REAL
THIS MESSAGE THAT I BRING TO YOU
IS NOT WHAT I, BUT WHAT GOD CAN DO
A PEACE AND JOY NOT OF THIS WORLD
IS WHAT MY LORD CAN GIVE
SO PUT YOUR TRUST IN THE PRECIOUS LAMB
WHO WAS SLAIN BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN
TO MAKE THOSE ONCE HIS ENEMIES
NOW HEIRS OF GOD WITH HIM
CHORUS
CHORUS
CHORUS
RELEASE IT
WORDS BY PAT ITZEL AND BILL ITZEL
MUSIC BY BILL ITZEL
WHEN ALL OF YOUR WORST FEARS COME TRUE
AND YOU FEEL THERE’S NOTHING YOU CAN DO
WHEN THE WEIGHT OF THE WORLD COMES DOWN ON YOU
JUST GIVE IT ALL TO JESUS
HE WILL CALM YOUR TREMBLING SOUL
JUST LET HIM HAVE COMPLETE CONTROL
KEEP FOCUSED ON YOUR FINAL GOAL
JUST GIVE IT ALL TO JESUS
CHORUS
RELEASE IT, LET IT GO
EVERYTHING’S IN HIS CONTROL
TRUST IN HIS PRECIOUS WILL
YOUR TROUBLED HEART HE WILL STILL
(REPEAT CHORUS) RELEASE IT
WHEN WORRY SEEMS TO COME YOUR WAY
TAKE IT TO THE LORD AND SAY
ONLY YOU CAN MAKE IT GO AWAY
JUST GIVE IT ALL TO JESUS
THE WORLD’S SOLUTIONS HAVE ALL BEEN TRIED
AND YOU STILL FEEL THAT YOUR HANDS ARE TIED
TRUST THE COMFORTER WHO’S FOUND INSIDE
JUST GIVE IT ALL TO JESUS
CHORUS
GOD HAS GIVEN YOU ALL YOU NEED
TO LIVE IN THIS BARREN LAND
SO WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE YOU’RE ALL ALONE
HE’S THERE TO HOLD YOUR HAND
CHORUS
CHORUS

PLASTIC PEOPLE
W/M Bill Itzel 4/3/98
Everywhere I look, I see,
Plastic faces smiling at me
Though content in hardened shells,
Their eyes another story tells
And though they never show within,
They’re more than just the mannequin
Behind their confident facade
Lies a heart that needs the love of God
CHORUS
Jesus loves the plastic people
He can see through their disguise
Jesus died for the plastic people
He listens to their lonely cries
Yes, He listens to their lonely cries
I know a girl who tries to be different
She’s unique, like all the rest
She doesn’t know that on the inside
Is where she should strive to look her best
And there’s a man who’s made his money
He’s living life free and fast
He’s got it all, but he’s got nothing
He’s put his stock in what will not last
CHORUS
CHORUS
SELF SERVE WORLD
w/Karen, Bill, Adam J., and Stacy Itzel m/Bill Itzel 4/18/98
We’re rushing to and fro
yeah, we’re on the go
running people down in our way
We’re out to gratify
and satisfy
all our own desires everyday
All in a hurry to get nowhere
Stockpiling treasures, nobody wants to share
CHORUS
We’re livin’ in a self serve world
Looking out for number one
We’re livin’ in a self serve world
Living life on the run
Each life touches another
How will we treat our brother?
Will we really live
or just live in a self serve world?
We’re doing our best
to gain success
with love in our heart so it seems
But, we’re using our friends
to be first in the end
but, do the ends justify the means
We’ve got no time, get out of my way!
Everybody wants to live for today
CHORUS
Do unto others
As you would have them do to you
Show love like the Father
That’s all we’ve got to do
CHORUS
THE WAR
W/BILL & KAREN ITZEL, M/BILL ITZEL 4/18/98
They stood before accusers
Suffering in shame
Yet they counted it a privilege
To die in Jesus’ name
These martyrs stood in victory
And bravely took the sword
And though they lost their lives that day
Great was their reward
CHORUS
To live is Christ, to die is gain
Though we may suffer through the greatest pain
If our eyes are fixed on Jesus whom we’re fighting for
We may lose the battle, but thank God, we’ve won the war
He stood before the doctors
There was no more they could do
But, he believed the Great Physician
Could make his body new
But even if his Savior
Chose to take him home
His joy would be far greater
To stand before the throne
CHORUS
If our eyes are fixed on Jesus whom we’re fighting for
We may lose the battle, but thank God, we’ve won the war
We’ve won the war
CHORUS
If our eyes are fixed on Jesus whom we’re fighting for
We may lose the battle, but thank God, we’ve won the war
GOD GAVE ME YOU
w/m Bill Itzel (3/6/98)
I prayed for God to give me
Children of my own
To teach them, to train them
In the way that they should go
And now, it gives me greatest joy
To see God shining through
And to know you’re passing on the love
That I have given you
God gave me you
To take care of
To love with all my heart
God gave me you
To hold in my arms
And make everything alright
And if you ever need me
I’ll be faithful and true
I’m so glad, God gave me you
I prayed for God to give me
A girl to be my wife
Someone to be my best friend
Someone to share my life
And even though there’ll be rocky paths
Ahead that we must climb
I know that we can make it
If you just put your hand in mine
And because we are a family
There’s a bond you can’t ignore
But, because we all love Jesus
That bond is so much more
And if you ever need me
I’ll be faithful and true
I’m so glad, yes, I’m so glad
I’m so glad, God gave me you
BEWARE OF THE DOGS
w/m Bill Itzel (2/8/98)
OW! OW! Beware of the dogs
OW! OW! Beware of the evil doers
OW! OW! Beware of the dogs
OW! OW! Beware of the evil doers
When you live in the doghouse it gets so cold
And there ain’t no food left in the bowl
It’s more like famine and less like feast
But then, that’s the nature of the beast
Sin will tempt you and say that it’s fun
But when it bites, it’s too late to run
Stay back from the fence before you get cut
‘Cause try as you might, you can’t tame this mutt
GOD MADE A SEEKER OUT OF ME
w/m Bill Itzel - 3/15/98
God made a seeker out of me
God made a seeker out of me
Before the world began
I was part of redemption’s plan
God made a seeker out of me
There is none that’s righteous, no not one
There are none of us that seek after the Son
But He made an offer I couldn’t refuse
Now there’s no way I can lose
‘Cause the victory in my life has been won
You may have sought the answers with your mind
But have felt around your heart the chains that bind
If you just trust today, it’s true
He’s made a seeker out of you
And the Word says “Seek and you will find”
WHEN YOU MEET THE CROSS
w/m Bill Itzel 4/9/98
You have reached the destination
and it’s weighing on your mind
Will you choose the restoration
or will you be left behind
The path ahead is narrow
while the second path is wide
Will you choose the road to heaven?
or will you choose the other side?
When you meet the cross
There’s a time of great decision
When you meet the cross
Leave behind your derision
When you see the blood running down
and cleansing all around
Don’t resist the drawing sound
When you meet the cross
The words of Christ are echoing
in your ears today
“To know the truth, to live the life,
I am the only way”
The Master calls to follow
Take up your cross and live
Leave behind your old life
He’s got something more to give
Lay aside your earthly pride
He will come and dwell inside
I’LL PRESS ON TOWARD THE MARK
w/m Bill & Karen Itzel 4/9/98
There was a man who had accomplished many feats that led to fame
But in the end his fortune brought him no eternal gain
But he found a new direction and his old life was a loss
Because the things that seemed important could not compare to the cross
I’ll press on toward the mark
I’ll press on toward the goal
I will run the race upon my knees
I will dedicate my soul
I will burn with passions fire
from the very start
and even when I’m weary,
I’ll press on toward the mark
Each day, I am tempted to be temporally fed
Things are taking up my time and I forget to look ahead
I must daily keep perspective and put things in their place
And one day, I’ll be rewarded when I see Him face to face
I surrender all, I surrender all
All to Thee my Blessed Savior
I surrender all
GOD’S TIMING IS PERFECT
w/Pat Itzel m/Bill Itzel 4/9/98
I thought I knew what was best for me
I knew what I wanted my life to be
I planned my future, my goals, my days
I never bothered to seek His ways
I pushed ahead and made my plans
I thought my life was in my hands
Then those things seemed to fall apart
‘Till the Lord spoke peace unto my heart
God’s timing is perfect
He knows what is best
And He has plans for us
In Him we must rest
We are so impatient
Yes, we want control
But when we wait for His timing
We’ll find rest for our soul
It’s hard to wait for what we want
Since the Devil loves to taunt
He says, “if God loves you, He’d do it now
It doesn’t matter when or how”
But I chose to wait for God’s own time
To give me what I thought was mine
And I found just as a wanting child
He was giving His best all the while
LIVIN’ BY THE LAW OF LOVE
w/Karen & Bill Itzel, m/Bill Itzel 4/17/98
I begin with myself
And see there’s no worth
Without the touch from the Man
Of virgin birth
Now, I’m gonna love God
And my neighbor too
Not out of obligation
But it’s what I want to do
CHORUS
I’m not livin’ by a list of what man decides
I’m walkin’ by faith, God’s Word is my guide
When I ask, I will receive the answers from above
I’m not livin’ by the law,
I’m livin’ by the law of love
The nation Moses led
Out of Egypt’s halls
Had hearts so hardened
God gave them many laws
But now we’re in an age
Where we’ve been set free
‘Cause Jesus took the law
And nailed it to a tree
CHORUS
I’m free to serve - my fellow man
Free to love - and not tear down
Free to give - all that I can give
Free to do - what I know is right
Free to be - pleasing in His sight
Free to learn - how He wants me to live
CHORUS
I’m not living by the law, not living by the law
not living by the law, not living by the law
I’m not living by the law, I’m livin’ by the law of love

HOMECOMING 2006: For the past 17 years, we have picked out a Friday, usually in the Fall, for our Annual Homecoming Concert. However, this year we have decided to do something a little different. Our Homecoming Concert for 2006 will be on Sunday evening, December 31st at 6 PM at the Forcey Memorial Church. That’s right! New Year’s Eve! We would love for you all to come, but we realize that some of you may have plans already. With this in mind, we set the time early so you can come out for a concert and still have time for any other plans you may have. So, mark your calendars now and invite your friends and family. No tickets are required but a love offering will be received. Close out 2006 with a special evening for the whole family!

Sorry, but right now, most of my random thoughts are on our new project in the works. Check out “Creation of an Album” for more info…although I must say, it was really cool that we finally got Al-Zarqawi in Iraq. Boy, a guy like that sure gives all of us guys named Al a bad name! (Name: William Albert Itzel) Seriously though, I am so proud of our troops for ignoring the liberal press back home and just getting the job done!

On March 17th, while walking around the Walmart parking lot waiting for the mechanics to change my oil in the old Envoy, the idea for a song just struck me (and fortunately, I had just bought some pens and pads of paper in said Walmart). Many of us as Christians turn into Chicken Little when something bad happens on a national scale. Oh no, CNN is putting a liberal slant on the news…again, oh no, some Senator in Congress is proposing legislature that may restrict my rights, oh no, Bush’s approval ratings are at an all-time low, oh no, Hillary Clinton my run for President…and win, oh no, THE SKY IS FALLING!!! THE SKY IS FALLING!!! Panic sets in and reasoned thought flies out the window.
Sure I don’t like it when bad things happen, but God Is Still God and God’s still in control! It’s a simple message for a song, but sometimes we need to be reminded of that simple message. Regardless who is in power and what their goals are; regardless of how we as Christians are represented in the media; regardless of what the DaVinci Code says about our Savior…God Is Still God!
For several years I had been tossing around the idea of writing a patriotic song. I love America, I love those who fight and die each day for the freedoms we share and for the safety of our families. With all the Anti-American, Anti-Soldier sentiment going around today, I decided, when I got home fro Wal-mart, that it was time to finish up the idea I had jotted down on a business card. This idea became the title song of our new CD - Soldiers. It is a big inspirational patriotic “thank you” to those who sacrifice for our country with a suprise twist at the end. For those of you who remember “The Couriers”, know the song “The Statue Of Liberty”. This is a similar 2006 version of that theme.
