Homecoming 2006 - New Year’s Eve

HOMECOMING 2006:  For the past 17 years, we have picked out a Friday, usually in the Fall, for our Annual Homecoming Concert. However, this year we have decided to do something a little different.  Our Homecoming Concert for 2006 will be on Sunday evening, December 31st at 6 PM at the Forcey Memorial Church.  That’s right!  New Year’s Eve!  We would love for you all to come, but we realize that some of you may have plans already. With this in mind, we set the time early so you can come out for a concert and still have time for any other plans you may have.  So, mark your calendars now and invite your friends and family.  No tickets are required but a love offering will be received.  Close out 2006 with a special evening for the whole family!

A Whole Lot of Recording Goin’ On

In the past couple of months, we have done a lot of studio work, getting ready for a few new releases:

1. “GUNS BLAZIN’ LIVE DVD
“: After touring and recording for over 15 years, we’ve finally recorded a live - in concert DVD. They are now available and you can pick one up at one of our concerts or you can send $15 to:

Here is a track listing:

Guns Blazin - Dead man Walkin - How Much More Glory - The Passion - Save Me - It’s A Wonderful Life - Thankful - Closed Mouth - Little Bit Of Sin - Sharing - Little Things - Shannon Bailey’s Solo - Even When The Answer’s No - Out Of The Ashes - The Lion’s Coming Back - Return Of The King - Suicide - When The Rubber Meets The Road - Words Of Love.

2. “PRAISE SOUP 2“: Over the past several years, Karen and I have been asked to lead worship in several services and retreats. Normally, I would bring my guitar and we’d just do it acoustically. More and more of these requests have been coming in, so we decided to record a few “Demo-type” tracks of some of our favorite praise and worship choruses like: Above All, The Battle Belongs To The Lord, Forever Grateful, Shout To The Lord, Awesome God, More Love More Power, Open The Eyes of My Heart, We Want to See Jesus Lifted High, I Will Call Upon The Lord, I Will Enter His Gates, Shine, Jesus, Shine, All In All, Lord I Lift Your Name on High, and use those in the worship settings.

3. “GREATEST HITS (THAT NEVER MADE IT TO RADIO)”: We are also putting the finishing touches on our first Greatest Hits CD that will be released sometime in the Summer. This CD will encompass 16 years of music and consist of 16 of our most requested songs. To try and sort through over 130 songs and choose 13 was a very arduous task, but after hours of deliberation, we came up with this track list:

Return Of The King - Dead Man Walkin - The Lion’s Coming Back - When He Speaks - Thankful - The Starfish Song - 2 Natures (re-recorded) - Be A Witness (re-recorded) - For Better Or Worse (re-mixed) - Beware Of The Dogs (re-mixed) - Where’s The Beef? - The War (re-recorded) - Hard To Believe

4. “GUNS BLAZIN 2″:
Ok, I’m just kidding about this one, but we have added some guitar and remixed 2 of the songs from the original Guns Blazin’ CD (Even When The Answer’s No and Out Of The Ashes) for the second pressing.

5. Brand New CD: We are also working on a CD of brand new songs for a fall release this year. Check out our section on this website entitled, “Creation of an Album” for ongoing updates and behind the scenes information.
